PXIG Meeting

PX User Organization and Its Mission

Protein Crystallography Interest Group (PXIG) is a loose user organization. Any user who is interesting in using the PX facilities in NSRRC can be the group member without any condition. The major activities of PXIG are PXIG meetings which usually held once a year during the NSRRC annual Users’ Meeting. The members can raise their needs for synchrotron radiation, their comments on existing and planned facilities, and their recommendations on access policies at the meeting, and all opinions will be documented and forwarded to the top managers of NSRRC for further discussions and actions.

Currently, the primary mission of PXIG core members is to prepare the Letter of Interest (LOI) and full proposal (CDR and PDR) to construct the state-of-the-art protein crystallography beamlines at the Taiwan Photon Source.
