Beamline

Beamline

The BioNSRRC has currently three beamlines (BL13B1, BL13C1, and SP12B2) in operation, one beamline (BL15A1) in commissioning, and one beamline (TPS-05A1) in constructing. SP12B2 (at SPring-8), BL13B1, BL15A1, and TPS-05A1 (at NSRRC) are capable of performing MAD experiments, as well as standard monochromatic crystallography. BL13C1 is designed to operate at fixed energy above the Se K edge. BL15A1, BL13B1 and BL13C1 also serve as the high-throughput Synchrotron Protein Crystallography Facility (SPXF) of the National Core Facility Program for Biotechnology (NCFPB) to provide the NCFPB users with reliable, rapid and fully automated X-ray beamlines.
